We recommend staying near Split Old Town. There are many reasonably-priced options on sites such as Booking.com. We will be staying at 5 Ulica Petra Zoranića.
The villa is a few kilometres west of Split. We recommend getting there by taxi/Uber. The journey is around 10 minutes from Split Old Town, expect to pay about €5.
There is parking available at the villa if you have a car.
Cocktail attire, but don’t overthink it! We’re sure you’ll look great. Struggling to pick a colour? Our palette is as on this page: dusty pink, pale blue, and light yellow.
Please note that we will be outdoors by the sea. The temperature typically reaches 18°C at night in Split in late September, but of course we cannot predict the weather!
Take as many photos and videos as you like, and feel free to post them to social media if that’s your thing. We would love it if you could share them with us after the event!
We appreciate the thought, but no thanks!
While you can pay by card almost everywhere, some places are cash-only. Most ATMs have steep fees so we would advise that you bring some cash (Euros) with you.
If you’re flying to Split, there is a shuttle bus service between the airport and Old Town that costs €9 one-way. Beware: you may have to pay in cash!
For views over Split, climb the Bell Tower of Saint Dominus Cathedral (~€7).
Consider visiting the Museum of Illusions for a fun hour or two.
Froggyland was unfortunately closed for renovations when we visited in February, but with any luck it will be open in September!
If you’re staying for a few days, consider a trip to one the nearby islands of Brač, Hvar, Vis, or Šolta.
Stow serves great coffee. They also have a small food menu; the Italian toast is pricey but really tasty!
For fantastic sandwiches check out Focaccina Sandwich Bar.
